Move Freely Again, Get Out of Pain Now!
Pain is the signal from your body that something is out of balance. Rather than squelch that warning, let's treat the root cause of bound up tissues!
Are you tired of being in constant, nagging pain, despite getting treatment from many types of practitioners? If you have symptoms that don't respond to traditional modalities, you may have myofascial restrictions which are binding you down.
This tightness causes tissues to compress and create pressure on sensitive nerve endings as well as on blood vessels, organs and muscles. All of the standard tests, such as x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, MRIs, etc. , do not show myofascial restrictions.
Fascia can be broken down into 3 divisions: superficial fascia, which lies directly beneath the dermis; deep fascia, which surrounds and infuses muscle, bone, nerve, blood vessel and organ tissue; and deepest fascia within the dura of the cranial sacral system. Fascia at the cellular level is the immediate environment of every cell in the body, and creates interstitial space needed for healthy tissue function.
At Move Freely PT, based in Huntington, NY, we specialize in providing a unique and effective hands-on approach sinking deep into the fascial barriers, allowing the body to move freely and become pain free.
Myofascial Release techniques focus on relaxing the deep tissue of the body providing lasting and effective relief to the patient. Begin your healing journey with a 1 hour 1:1 session where we evaluate the whole body and determine the areas that are tight and restricted, causing you the pain and imbalances. At Move Freely PT, after thorough evaluation we will customize your treatment plan and teach you the important self-treatment techniques that will help rid your body of pain, and to prevent injury.
